Pictures of memorable times

Couple retreat in Spring of 2017- Vegas Temple

(This one's for you Mandi) Women's conference 2017 for Mom's birthday.

Tavin with his mom, Chrisy. He came and saw us while we waited to go into the conference center. (He brought grandma flowers!)

I am SO glad you used that pic of your crazy eyes, Mary! It makes me happy every time I see it. It also makes me afraid for your children. :)

1 lb of butter (soft)

1 1/2 cups white sugar

2 cups brown sugar

cream together until well blended

while creaming, mix dry ingredients, and set aside

6 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

(if you don't have powder, just use 1/2 tea more of soda)

I like to add 1 teaspoon cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg

BACK to mixture:

add 3 eggs, one at a time to butter mix

2 teaspoons of vanilla

add in dry ingredients and before completely mixed add

4 to 5 cups of chocolate chips.

I use the silver bag (Guittard). I also like using 1 cup dark chocolate or even semi sweet and 4 cups milk chocolate. Its fun to mix it up and put in caramel filled chips, toffee chips etc.. sometimes I freeze and blend half my chips so it is in every bite.

you can also choose 2 cups raisins

and 1 1/2 cups oatmeal.

these bake @ 350 for 10 minutes

I only use Demarle sheets for cookies. It gives it the crisp edges and chewy center.

Homemade Taquitos (GF)

2-3 Cups shredded roast beef/chicken/pork (already cooked)

1 4oz can green chilis

1/2 C. salsa

1 can beans (optional)

lots of seasonings (I use season salt, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, garlic, black pepper, etc.)

1- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

2- Combine ingredients in frying pan until warm.

3- Spray cookie sheet with baking spray.

4- Put one tablespoon of meat mixture in a corn tortilla and wrap it up. Place seam-side down on cookie sheet. Fill as many tortillas as you have meat for.

5- Spray the top of the filled tortillas with cooking spray. Spray liberally.

6- Cook for 25-35 minutes until they’re as crisp as you like.

Enjoy with toppings/dips of your choice.
